Virgilio Honored With Tree Planting

A number of alumni, friends, faculty and staff joined Dr. Andrew Virgilio ‘49 and his family in early August as a tree was planted in his honor outside the Alumni House. Virgilio’s time at Brockport spanned nearly five decades, as a student, and later as a professor and administrator. The Professor Emeritus of Educational Administration is the former principal of the Campus School, served as a New York State Assemblyman and is an Air Force veteran. Virgilio’s professional service to the College spanned from 1961 to 1987.

The Virgilio tree becomes the seventh such tree to be planted near the Alumni House.
